We're Here to Help

Coming to college can be excited but nervous at time. You are not alone!

Besides our committed faculty and staff, we have a team of students here to answer your questions and make your transition as smooth as possible.

Resident Assistants

Resident Assistants (RA) facilitates the social, academic, and personal adjustment of students to their residence hall community.

The RA develops a sense of community among residents as members of a floor, residents of a hall, and active participants of the larger University Community.

Throughout welcome residential students will meet with your RA and floor members to make connections and learn about living on-campus.

JWU First

JWU First leaders help facilitate social and academic programming geared specifically toward the first year experience. They help new students become acclimated to the demands and rigor of being a college students.

Throughout Wildcat Welcome as well as the first year, there are a number of opportunities to meet with a JWU First leader as well as attend may programs specifically targeted at helping you be successful at Johnson & Wales.
